What does music look like to you? I see repetitive motifs in this piece that reflect the rhythm and forceful drive of a high energy track. Taking its visual cues from the colours of the London Underground tube lines, this piece visualises the music and concept of The Jam's pop-punk classic Going Underground. The red signifying the passion and vocal performance of the lyrics. The pop art-inspired arrows reflect the musical attack of the song while directing one to the underground, acknowledging the mod aspect of the band and their followers.

Recent MA study in Art and Design has taken my practice in a typographic/pop-cultural direction.
