About the artwork:

Part of 'Kidnap At The Noodle Shop'.

This is the fourth painting Delic made for his enormous project 'Kidnap At The Noodle Shop', which was released in september 2018. This work corresponds to chapter 4 of the story he wrote and track no. 4 of the album he made (you can listen to the album on Spotify).

The project was released in a 'vinyl-book' format; big coffeetable-sized storybooks containing depictions of the paintings, sketches, the written story and a physical vinyl elpee.

''I didn't have much cash left, I had been locked up and chased through the city, and I couldn't get to sleep. But still bright lights were shining all around me. All along the skyline in the distance, at the top of the cranes around the dock, and even the murky seawater slapping against the dock was lit up by the moon.

In a city with so many lights, I thought, surely there had to be an opportunity for me out there somewhere?''
