The fundamentalist and bipolar world, full of terror and phobias, inspires Islam Smile. The uncomfortable to see reflected in the other fills us with concern, the mirrors show the words upside down. The submission of one culture to the rules of another triggers explosive dichotomous realities that are the subject of the works of this exhibition. The strictest freedom, amputation or grafting, invasion of the plastic terrain, fundamentalist icons, classics, pop and graphic, carry the maximum load of expressiveness in Islam Smile. Artistic activism, provocation. A scream of love and tolerance echo paintings, positive bombs, smiles covered, explosions of colors and visual landscapes wounded full of a powerful ideological force that surprise and place us in a new and subversive paradox, where what is not revealed is imagined and can be possible. Nothing is what it seems in this reflection about what we choose to see when we look. Islam Smile proposes a world in peace, where the flag of love is the only rule.
