About The Artwork

From the "Leos" series, a body of work that mines the filmography and image of actor Leonardo DiCaprio to explore existential questions such as environmental catastrophes, mortality and fame. In this image, past and future collide, as the actor's jersey forecasts his future wilderness expedition and mauling by a large grizzly bear.
