In this piece, I aim to communicate my love of pop culture through colour and graphic elements. Numerals represent pop music charts, but also the emotions and tensions of the machine (the music business) behind the scenes. Stylistic inspiration comes from record sleeves and illuminated shop signs, fused to create my visual representation of POP.

My work is informed by emotional responses to colour and the figurative and abstract forms found in natural and urban settings. I have produced creative works for high profile museums and galleries including the V&A and the RA, London. Recent MA study in Art and Design has taken my practice in a typographic/pop-cultural direction. I will continue to develop the work through visual experimentation to produce art that communicates the artistic intention to the viewer in a visually compelling manner.
