Scream is inspired by the cultural revolution that took place in the Miracle Mile, Los Angeles, in the 1980s. The Punk movement set a counterculture tone that resonated with Nemesis. From mohawks to leather jackets and chains - the punk rock style challenged convention. A bit counterintuitive, but Nemesis was not a big fan of punk music. Rather, he was enamored with what the imagery and use of color stood for: strength and defiance.
