Seen at Smithfield meat Market, London. Porters handling a large beef carcas. Reminded me of Christ being taken down from the Cross. A small but powerful image. A simple, roughly drawn work hopefully, it will show the viewer the great phisical energy involved in this trade. It was an experiment to see if I could translate my drawing ability to the craft of etching.
