About The Artwork
In this direct carving in Carrara marble, worked with a pantograph. This is a classic technique that Michelangelo used in the Renaissance. I find it a beautiful work for all the manual work that it takes to work with said measuring instruments. I would like the viewer to enjoy as much as I do to be able to contemplate this Greek imitation. I love Carrara marble as it is a very noble material and it suited the mythological theme very well.
