SANDRA VASILIAUSKIENE My creation is somewhere between the vastness of space and the depths of the ocean. In the design of my products, I try to depict the most diverse phenomena of the sky and the earth. The bottom of my creations is like a drawing, or maybe even a piece of heaven and earth in your hands. My name is Sandra Vasiliauskiene (Sandra Vas) I am a ceramic artist from Lithuania. My field is large ceramic bowls. Palete I use is a combination of black, blue, green and white. I love the contrast between rough and still design. My ambition as an artist is to bring nature into your life. All items are crafted as naturally as possible, but still maintain their practicality. I take advantage of renewable energy sources like sun and wind to make my creations as sustainable as possible. Each piece has been handcrafted to be durable in different environments, including exposure to water, sun, and cold. Not only that, but I use the highest quality raw materials, such as natural stones, crystal glass and special handmade stoneware. I participate in number of national exhibitions in Lithuania. I work with different auctions and galleries and ship my ceramic art all over the Europe. Ceramics is my life. I am open for collaborations, workshops and making new connections.
