human flow WALL I Sculpture

The work “human flow WALL I” consists of 4 different types of wood: Maple, walnut, larch and limewood. Through a precise, planned project, the veneers were connected to one another in such a way that they tapered off irregularly towards the bottom, thereby creating a flowing dynamic. “Human flow” was derived from the aphorism of the Greek natural philosopher Heraclitus of Ephesus: “Pantha rhei” - everything flows. Just as the water in the stream is always in motion, all things, living beings and phenomena in the world are always changing. Everything changes and develops, nothing stays the same. The surface of the sculpture is brushed and natural. The frame is made of lime wood, MDF board and white acrylic paint. There is a hanger on the back for easy wall mounting. All of Manfred Hellweger's sculptures are unique.
