About The Artwork
I made this dynamic artwork to go outside of my art studio as a warm gesture to let everyone know that all are welcome to my studio and that it is a safe space for all. The sculpture actually turns so people can pose by both sides of her and see two messages of love. It has been outside my studio for two years but I recently rented my space out and this Iconostar Silhouette sculpture named Love Goddess is looking for a new home to make others feel happy and accepted. Hundreds of people have posed in front of her and taken selfies. It's been a great honor to make so many people feel loved so I hope she continues to do her job! I am also the proud parent of an lgbtqia child.

I grew up in Laguna Beach, California and lived in Southern California most of my life, however, I am now residing half my time in North Carolina. I've been a professional artist for over 20 years, this is my full time job, it's not a back-up plan. I've shown my artwork in galleries across the United States and in Los Cabos, Mexico. In addition to my art I have published for books all sold at Barnes & Noble etc. but my true passion is painting and sculpting. I'm passionate about women's issues, equal rights, the environment and animals. Artist Statement: I often use vivid colors to feature topics with a darker undertone. Some of the subjects I paint about are: women, race, equality, politics, the environment, pop culture, power & mental illness. My work is often iconic and easily recognizable by my unique style of outlining my subjects both literally and figuratively.
