The artist Haim Fainberg was born in 1951 in Tel-Aviv, Israel. During his childhood he absorbed the Middle Eastern street culture of the 60', manifested by simplicity, joy, love of humanity and faith. He graduated his high school studies in "Alliance Tel-Aviv". Later on, he joined the Israeli defense forces and served at the home front command. At the age of 21, his mother Sara unexpectedly past away and together with his father he had to financially support and take care of his 3 young sisters. After his military service he began learning the "metal artwork" profession studies in "Shabch Vocational school" in Tel-Aviv. Throughout his adult life and to this very day, Haim have made a living from construction of special metal artworks and he is the owner of the "Fainberg's metal-shop", a boutique metal shop which is located in Rishon Lezion ,Israel. In the early 80',Haim became interested in art and particularly in the sculpture world. Initially, he chose to carve and sculpture trunks of citrus trees. Between his projects one may find human faces and body characters, in different positions. Further on and in light of his experience in metal artwork, he started sculpturing in metal. Between his artworks there are various of characters and incredible models of motorcycles and transportation vehicles that were made from tiny metal particles. Since the early 90' and to this very day, Haim became enthusiastic of the art of clay sculpture. The clay sculpture technique allows Haim a free hand for fulfillment of his many ideas. Haim Fainbergs' numerous artworks represent his life journey, in which he met a variety of interesting and inspiring people. He sculptured portraits of characters and human body in different positions, as well as figures from his imaginary and surreal world. Haims' perception of life is reflected in his projects, and is based primarily on the principle of family importance. His prominent passions, based on the love between a human couple, the love of a mother to her baby, and the love of the human body, are well expressed in his sculptures. In general, Haim doesn't believe in the perfection and the modeling model. Thus, he enjoys representing in his works the minor defects of the "street people" which demonstrate the humanity of all of us. The artist Haim Fainberg is married to Zehava, a father of four boys (Shay,Itay,Tomer and Yossi) and a grandfather for six grandsons (Leroy,Yuval,Lian,Eyal,Noam and Ori).
