This sculpture took 18 months of creativeness and being carved on. The sculpture depicts the kind of true love of the parents upon there child. The parents were busy working to find food for the family yet the mighty eye of the eagle suddenly pierced through the the heavy dusty windy day and located the unattended cub for easy prey to feed her family as well. The American eagle thought that with her swiftness and sharpness she was going to be able to snatch away the cub not knowing that the king of the jungle and her active fearless lady were both looking for meet and at the same time watching over there son. In life there are certain things which the enemy can't be allowed to do especially when it comes to attacking our children. Parents always take very high risk action in order to protect and bring out the children from any form of danger though the children may mostly disobey the parents,s rules.

I was born in 1977 in Zimbabwe and raised in the rural area were I used to see my grandfather Gabriel Tandi and my father Thomas Tandi making art from wood and stone. I started learning to carve at the age of 5 years but I was a full-time sculptor in 1998 after the completion of my tertiary education. I have attended international art events in USA and Asia. Like the New York art expo and the Ciie in China. I also represent works of other artists when doing my international exhibitions and when doing my yearly exports to different customers. I work with my brothers and many other famous artists and upcoming artists. I make sure that all the art exports which pass through my workshop are upto the standard and are high end products.
