Panther Onca Sculpture

Panthera Onca is a sculpture in a larger series called Raw Power. Panther Onca shows a black panther who is running at full speed. He likes to float above the ground. The sculpture is made of a metal frame covered in fiberglass and polyester. The polyester resin has a high glossy finish. The base is made out of oak. The fine art pieces I create are made using a specific and unique process which I have developed over time. Every sculpture starts with a snapshot of a specific moment in life. This can be people dancing, loving, and caring or an animal jumping, resting, and playing. I try to capture the energy (be it love, anger, playfulness, …) of the moment and translate this into the sculpture.
