About The Artwork
Pippi Longstocking is the first work of the series 'Pippi'. It was inspired by the image of bullish girls, their plastique, emotions and overall feel. Throughout the series it was important for me to show their inner world, and the heroine of the famous book 'Pippi Longstocking' provided a great example.

I was born in Omsk, Russia in 1999. At the moment she lives and works in Moscow. My inspiration involves both the variable character of humans’ individual plastiques and the intricacies of people’s emotional states. In my works I explore the depiction of one’s inner state through outer features such as volume, shape and overall stylistic expression.
