Sculpture, Woodcut on Wood
Size: 51.2 W x 65 H x 51.2 D in
Ships in a Crate
The work is devoted to the link between the material and the imaginary worlds. All that surrounds us is the implementation of pre-created images or ideas. “In the beginning was the Word”. The human brain is the most obvious example of the place where the image is created. The projection is the energy consuming way of the idea realization. The bigger sphere rotating on two axes represent the material world in global or personal scale. The imaginary world is symbolized by smaller globe fitted into an energy pyramid. The transition is accomplished through the cone element with the symbolic eye of a human or a superior being in the middle. The mirror in the foundation emphasize the connection of the physical and the imaginary. The artwork might be considered in either metaphysical or a specific scale. The construction can be taken apart with ease for transportation purposes, it is made out of wood and finished with polish of dark and blue tones. The structure is not made for outdoor use.
