About The Artwork
An environmental idea in Italy inspired this gate post and the desire to depict and protect all of Nature. In Italy the seahorse is a symbol of Good Fortune and they are of course extraordinary sea creatures, where the males also carry the young. This is in the blue tinged white South African Marble and bedded on a sea shell, flanked by coral.

An artist and highly published and award winning fantasy author sculpting was a first love, but I only returned to it when I moved to Pietrasanta in Tuscany in 2017.
