ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I picked this specific Persian emerald onyx from my stone yard and decided to, “go to town on it.” I core drilled the center and then carved the piece to look as if I had warmed the stone and gently pulled out the edges. The title is two Japanese words ‘Sankaku’ meaning triangle and ‘Kankei’ meaning connection or rapport.
