Stirring Sculpture

This work investigates the idea of movements and emotions. The gestures create a journey with stages and passages. Stirring is a word with many meanings. We stir to make a cake, to make a magic potion, to prepare a soup and cool it down, we also stir our feelings and our thoughts. Stirring can create confusions and make us go round and round in circles. But the sculpture is contained within its own space and impose a limit to the potentially endless journey of stirring. This sculptural painting has no frame and is composed of the material itself only. The last element included in this sculpture is Nature. The dried flowers introduce a notion of cycle, which will also break the stirring motion.
