Art Description

Sculpture: Glass, Paper, Paint, Found Objects on Glass, Other.

A Mixed Media Sculpture from the Animal Tales series.

In the ANIMAL TALES I join my love of stories with my love of animals. Hand drawn kiln processed glass paintings of animal portraits are then attach to manipulated books the titles of which are specific to the animal either in personality or in subject matter.

Sydney is a non-flying Australian Bearded Dragon. His portrait found its way on to David Quammen’s book The Flight of the Iguana. BTW Iguanas do not fly either
