About The Artwork
This is a stoneware (fired clay) sculpture comprising of two parts: the bottom and the lid. The bottom is glazed with semi-gloss glaze, the top has sides glazed with matt glaze, horns and the head are glazed with glossy metallic and glossy glaze respectively. Inner part of the sculpture is glazed with glossy metallic glaze. All glazes are lead-free and non-toxic.

Vilkometria is a small ceramic studio run in rural area of Western Poland. Each and every creature born in my studio is unique, conceived and hand manufactured entirely by Vilkometria. Process starts with concept sketching with pencils and, when I'm satisfied, hand forming of raw clay begins. After bisque firing I apply glazes, mixed, or fired over in multiple steps.
