The Father's heart Sculpture

The body of work was, and still is, inspired by an egg-rainfall night dream, that was poring down on me...I explain more elaborately and in detail on: Marlene de Wet. art. website. I use the symbol of Life, the egg, to suggest anything or -body that is alive, to explain my revelation which I need to share. I urge my viewers to look deeper than eye value, to resonate with me and share the deeper spiritual message. I use casing resin with marble dust as a plaster over a strong cement base, the inner is foam. The marble-dust -resin is applied in various layers in different hues to create a realistic marble look and then polished and buffed up. The iron is raw and sealed with transparent sealer.
