I describe myself as an old school black man of conscious. My art is neither pretty, attractive, nor mainstreams. My target audience are collectors that can related to the particular subject matter the art expresses. My art is for the thinking men and women. I am inspired by social injustice, especially as it relates to American minorities. Inspired by both parents who were politically astute, my inspiration comes from their disgust over social injustice and conservative politics as it relates to race, social and economic injustice. I am an artist of conscious...the rest can paint flowers!
