This hand made vase form, employing, coiling and slabbing ceramic construction techniques, features a sgraffito design of female figures in bright ('pointalist' rendered) 40's style dresses, 'mad hatters' hats, and pointed shoes. The figures surround the vessel, their steps foreshadowing the next figure - an aesthetic and thoughtful representation of life's journey.
