About The Artwork

For me, creating is a form of meditation. I enjoy the slow unfolding as the work is created and how it gradually leads to new forms and content. My intention is to create a state of clarity and serenity in the viewer. The monochrome, white surface of the plaster fascinates me with its slightly irregular, lively structure and its changing character in different lighting situations. Weight of artwork (with frame): 4.89 lb / 2221 g The relief comes with a wooden shadow gap frame 11.8W x 14.6H x 1.26in / 30B x 37H x 3.2cm Original and handmade art. Comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.

I was born and raised in Grisons, Switzerland. I'm living and working in the northwest of Switzerland. My passion for art goes way back. I was very interested in art during my philosophy and German studies. First through experience and a deeper perspective as well as a long and intensive study of many aspects of the background. This interest had remained very strong over the years alongside my professional activity and I began to give it more and more space. Finally I started my own creative work. After I soon had a suitable room, I continued to develop this practice of expression. Before presenting my work on this platform, I had regular exhibitions done in my studio. In addition to the fine arts, I am also strongly influenced by architecture, music, film and my connection to nature. For me, creating is a form of meditation. I enjoy the slow unfolding as the work is created and how it gradually leads to new forms and content. My works are in private collections in France, Germany and Switzerland.
