I started painting when my children were preschoolers; went back to college in my 50s and earned my BFA in Painting and drawing. Before that I was an elementary school teacher. Creativity is important to me, so here are a few of my paintings where I have been innovative with my approach. I also like to paint flowers because gardening is an important part of my life. At age 86 I can say that my paintings as well as my thoughts have changed quite a bit. The most important thing about being 86 is that I really appreciate family and all those friends that are in the past and those that are here now.
