I've always been inspired by Jasper Johns and other artists. In finding some objects like retro, vintage dinky cars I combined two paintings as one. I used hot glue in this painting and glued securely a canvas painting of a car onto a wood, abstract painting a similar reproduction of Howard Hodgkin (deceased artist) then I glued the dinky cars down securely onto the wooden abstract frame. Hot glue. The inset painting is a Porsche on an 8h x10w x7/8 canvas glued securely onto the wooden, abstract painting 11h x 14w x 1/4 placed inside the vintage wooden frame,16 3/8w x 13 1/4h. The reverse has steel hardware, plastic coated stainless steel wire ready to hang. Ideal for a lawyers office when asking a client do you think this blank red canvas is a mona lisa or a dream car? Without insulting anyone is that how a lawyer evaluates a client or is that him seeing his self worth? Was his painting insured?
