About The Artwork

I've always been inspired by Jasper Johns and other artists. In finding some objects like retro, vintage dinky cars I combined two paintings as one. I used hot glue in this painting and glued securely a canvas painting of a car onto a wood, abstract painting a similar reproduction of Howard Hodgkin (deceased artist) then I glued the dinky cars down securely onto the wooden abstract frame. Hot glue. The inset painting is a Porsche on an 8h x10w x7/8 canvas glued securely onto the wooden, abstract painting 11h x 14w x 1/4 placed inside the vintage wooden frame,16 3/8w x 13 1/4h. The reverse has steel hardware, plastic coated stainless steel wire ready to hang. Ideal for a lawyers office when asking a client do you think this blank red canvas is a mona lisa or a dream car? Without insulting anyone is that how a lawyer evaluates a client or is that him seeing his self worth? Was his painting insured? Did he have any dream cars of what others like parked outside his firm? I was in a lawyers office one day and he asked me just that question," Do you think this (blank red) canvas could be a mona lisa or a dream car?" Strange question to ask a potential client when it could be whatever you want it to be. Over the years, since 2001. Another, lawyer wanted a $20,000.00 retainer fee and you know where that leads to more money maybe, more of their cars and dream paintings that they probably will never be able to afford. What an insult to Leonardo and others!!!! The first thing I painted in 2002 was a Leonardo painting on paper. Moving along, the lawyers spends that and then will want more another 20,000.00 and the list goes on ....so what's $100,000.00 on retainer fees into a another lawyer's office who is too lazy, when he does not do trials, etc.... Nothing worse than turning down a valuable, potential client, I'd say. I thanked him and left his office upset to asking his receptionist," does he believe in the Wrath of God?" She did not comment. Was I mad but kept my cool because there are no legal damages for one being mad but there is with one being "aggravated." Aggravated damages are in the neighborhood of $235,000.00 - $285,000.00. It's always much better to be cool and be aggravated ! What if a lawyer or one who is not a lawyer was to purchase this and now has a story to tell others making it a conversation piece? Great for gift giving and/or oneself for home or office display. All of my art, my paintings are based on a true story, REVEALING THE VEILS (copyrights) and I am available to negotiate for a movie to viewing tieabowfineart.com, thank you.
