This piece is a reference to the fact that former US President John F Kennedy, CS Lewis and Aldous Huxley all departed this mortal coil on November 22, 1963. There are visual nods to The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe, Huxleys death while on LSD and JFKs eye for the ladies with a Playboy centrefold from November of 1962. This is a A3 sized piece of collage artwork using acetate, hand cut pieces and small plastic crystals for Huxley's kaleidoscope. This is one of two Artist Proofs and an original handmade piece. One of these Artist Proofs remains in the Storeybookland archive. This is the only handmade piece available to the public. This image is also available as an A3 art print on Archival 240gsm Matte paper. The edition is limited to 50 and is hand signed, titled and numbered by the artists.
