About The Artwork

This hand cut paper collage came together faster than most. I found an 'Engineering wonders of the World' annual in a charity shop and it was full of backgrounds featuring heavy machinery, factory interiors and major civil engineering projects. When I find an interesting image I secure it to a book board. Later that day an image of a tiger swimming came to light and the 2 images went together perfectly, with some minimal additions of colour here and there. The loss of habitat that tigers in particular suffer from is mainly due to the greed of large corporations and their over use and exploitation of raw materials and natural resources. We need to find better solutions to this. Hand cut paper is mounted onto a green book board, which will need to be framed, collage has been UV protected via a spray sealant. No glass is involved.
