About The Artwork
The uninvited visitors. The awe of not knowing who might come to visit. It is nighttime with a not-so-gentle breeze turning into a kind storm. There are a few passersby dressed in cloaks of darkness with secretive footprints and barely visible presence. The aura is haunting as is the milieu of small huts in the midst of black trees. It is calm and yet it is triggering the mind and heart to explore and fall in the alarm of the night. From far away, the eyes wish to see the scene unravel. With or without the knowledge of the context, the panic of curiosity wishes to witness the mysterious night and become an owner of something which is a jewel that may prolong life or take it. The AI Artwork is part of the graphic short story titled "The Tell-Tale Morals" which is inspired by Poe's Tell-Tale Heart.

Quleen Kaur Bijral is a faculty of English Literature at IIT Jammu with research projects focusing on indigenous folklore.
