I was talking with my coworkers one day about Boba tea and its wild popularity in Japan at one time, to a point where girls would stand in line for hours at the newest Boba tea shops. I also read about some teenage girl in China who died from consuming too much Boba and not being able to digest it. Apparently one serving is as much as a bowl of rice, and some people were consuming up to five of them in one sitting over a period of time, causing a lot of constipated trendsetters and trend-followers. The red letters cascading down behind the girl are Japanese katakana characters, and they read "BOBABABABABABA".
