About The Artwork
The work is inspired by the marvelous cycle of life and death; truth, lies, beauty, violence, hope and redemption. It is a series of diamonds, with fractured and whole imagery living subtly in, and defining the cuts and clarity of the stones. The jewels are meant as demonstrations and distortions of beauty and truth, lost in translation. Beauty and truth are there, but at times misunderstood.
