Green Goddess Carpet Print

My art is inspired from Eastern tapestry and carpet designs. I am attracted to the geometry and proportions of these weavings. It is practically miraculous to me that such entrancing, playful, and gorgeous abstraction can emerge from so much discipline and order. I use the best archival, wax-based colored pencils, ink and graphite. I find that these materials allow for the great precision of details needed for this type of work. The final effect is joyful, entrancing - vibrant, but also mysterious. The piece captivates both eye and mind - and is perfect for any space. Please note that my originals are created using the very best archival cotton paper. They are varnished so that protective glass is not required. Both originals and the print are delivered unframed.
