Little treasure (in original Kroshechka-Havroshechka) Drawing

I was born in Russia, on a tugboat in the ice of the Barents Sea. First seven years of my life I spent beyond the Arctic Circle. When I was eight my family and I moved to St. Petersburg. I was eleven years old when inspired by the Haute Couture fashion shows of Karl Lagerfeld and Pierre Cardin on TV started learning how to draw. On the background of the «dashing» 90s art became my guiding star. While still a student I was invited as a designer at the Publishing house “Liki Rossii” (St. Petersburg) which releases the albums about the era of the Russian emperors Alexander III and Nicholas II. Having worked 15 years at “Liki Rossii”, I opened my own small publishing house. Since 2009 I have been working closely with Carl Faberge’s creation most prominent specialist, an expert of Christie’s auction house. Message & inspiration sources: For over 20 years my professional activity has been inextricably linked with the history of Russian fine and jewelry art. I have a burning desire to share with the world the flavor of Russian culture and, possibly, reveal the mysteries of the Russian soul. I strive to move away from such stereotypes as bears, vodka and balalaika. I want the person who will own my works to feel the charming notes of crispy snow beneath your feet, Russian frost and ruddy cheeks, tasty motives of hot pancakes and the unique beauty of an azure sky and gold of palaces. I try to put into my works the special energy of fairy tales, wisdom of ancient legends and decorate it with the inimitable interweaving of Paganism and Christianity. I draw my inspiration from Slavic ethnic motives, the works of the jeweler Faberge and such artists as Leon Bakst, Boris Kustodiev, Valentin Serov. I believe in the miraculous power of art that motivates people to think and act beautifully. Аchievements: My greatest achievement today is freedom for creativity, desire and energy to create. I feel like a happy person: I am a successful professional in my field, I am building a house with my own art workshop in the suburbs of Peterhof, in winter stoats come to visit me. In addition, I am a Commander of two orders of Memorial Foundation of Carl Faberge and a winner of several book awards for design.
