About The Artwork
I start my artwork by drawing a pencil layout and underlying structure, then I color the drawings with Prismacolor pencils, ink or watercolor. I draw from photos, models, still life setups. I use my imagination and my creative vocabulary to create backgrounds for portraits. I use the same techniques to create abstract pieces. I often just let my lines go where they will. And color just falls into place. Each piece I create is a long, strange trip.
