About The Artwork

Series of works on paper "Thousand Clouds" explore thematically monotonous, but conceptually inexhaustible interplay between three stanchions. Thought. Mind. Cognition. In their metonymic function, clouds became substitution for thoughts and emotions; space and architecture a substitution for a mind; and the beholder a substitution for awareness or cognition. This thematic structure is easy to perceive but might be easier to decode by those familiar with Buddhist’s dialectics facture.
