The Tortured Man Print

The first little of this image was "Crucifixion"... maybe inspired by the theme and the idea of Francis Bacon or Artur Bual. The last time I photographed it in the studio, with the proper light, I changed ideas and decided that the best title would be "The Tortured Man"... like this, it can still be a crucifixion. In fact the crucified man was tortured to death. O primeiro título deste desenho foi "Crucificação" ... talvez inspirado no tema e na ideia de Francis Bacon. A última vez que o fotografei no estúdio, com a luz adequada, mudei ideias e decidi que o melhor título seria "The Tortured Man" ... assim, ainda pode ser uma crucificação. Na verdade, o homem crucificado foi torturado até a morte.
