About The Artwork
An adaptation of an ancient Chinese Seal Script character for war. The form of the character is populated with miniature figures, each performing actions typically associated with war and conflict. This piece was composed as a part of a seal script triptych comprising of the concepts of war, love and piety. On the macro level this image is comprised of a standard (war banner) on the left, and a weapon similar to a halberd on the right.
