About The Artwork

Everything I Planned, When I Was A Child, Went Wrong is a part of "Die Traumdeutung" series of paintings, drawings and objects (Packed Dreams). Objects (Packed Dreams), in their own way, are trying to materialize strongest, the most impressionable dreams turning them from something so fleeting and elusive to something pretty tangible and real. Through this process author is trying to touch her own Unconscious. The Unconscious acquires a new form: packed in sealed box it gets longevity, but box is closed with a clear glass so that everyone can see it and interpret it. "Die Traumdeutung" is also the original name of Sigmund Freud's book "The Interpretation of Dreams" from 1900, which started the development of the psychoanalytic concept of personality.
