About The Artwork

Series of works on paper "Thousand Clouds" explore conceptually inexhaustible interplay between three stanchions.Thought. Mind. Cognition. In their metonymic function, clouds became substitution for thoughts and emotions; space and architecture a substitution for a mind; and the beholder a substitution for awareness or cognition. This thematic structure is easy to perceive but might be easier to decode by those familiar with Buddhist’s dialectics facture. Inspired by Buddhist scriptures.
