We did a lot of procedures including handcraft and AI enhancement to make this work comes true, from a low-resolution photo, and make it paint-liked texture. It’s fun to try and error many times in this experimental process. It may not be perfect, but the imperfection made it Art. Story of the Artwork: This artwork was taken with my Nikon FM2 Camera in 2006 while hiking with friends visiting The Great Wall in Beijing. I remember we planned to camp on the Wall, no internet, no iPhone, no money, and no resources at that young age. We just bought some food and water, with a big backpack, and young braveheart, staying overnight in a chilling winter on the wild Great Wall. The memories are sweet as the time passing and flowing. We were young, have no fear, no expectation, and embrace pure happiness at that moment. The picture of The Great Wall took the next morning after the chilling camp. The air was fresh, because of the environment, and the surreal atmosphere, I felt that we are the only human in the world. I captured the moment, the feelings, and the time.
