BIOGRAPHY: After working as a clothing and footwear designer in Italy and the US for various years, In 2002 Maria decided to become an illustrator. Her work reflects her versatility and occasional eccentricity as former designer, combining various materials, textures and painting. She also never stopped loving fine art, and she keeps painting using and mixing various materials like enamel, oils , papers and anything else that may be suitable at the moment..creating collages and paintings that have a strong graphic impact. Her work has appeared on numerous publications and she has taken part to exhibits in Milan, Paris and New York. More recently Maria exhibited at the Florence Biennale of Modern Art (December 2009), at the Art and Antiques fair in Luxembourg (February 2010), and is currently working on new paintings for her next exhibition in Utrecht, Holland.
