Sometimes when we look at the red eyed sun we realise God is very drunk and very happy. Drunk on what? On a whisky or sunshine? We sometimes try and divide the many kinds of happiness, that in a nearby pub and that in a church, and perhaps that attempt is doomed to failure. Perhaps we should instead look at our sun, and wonder if it glows or is ashen?
