About The Artwork
Sandy. South Ferry was created by soaking the paper in sea salt water for 2-3 days. Dirt and a sharp stone from lower Manhattan were used to write Sandy and South Ferry numerous times on three layers of paper. This process was repeated until the paper was ripped and torn.
