ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Man or machine? A world going tech, electronic and automated. Be careful not to slip through the cracks or funnelled. Shine your light. Save your self. "What Controls The Past Controls The Future", "Always eyes watching you and enveloping you. Asleep or awake, indoors or out doors, in the bath or bed . No escape. Nothing was your own except the few cubic centimetres in your skull".

Tim Muddiman is an English artist and musician working in monochrome with reimagined stoic characters of modern and vintage glamour. Tim’s visual art draws purpose from a profound love of cinematography and the creation of atmosphere from posture, shadow and light. "I want my art to be an important part of an interesting story, and want the viewer to be the real storyteller. Tim began creating a large body of geometric and architectural paintings in 2019 with worldwide sales well into the hundreds. Over the last 12 months, his work, has moved from using acrylic paint on canvas to oil paint on linen. After some time out from a long career solely as a musician and member of Gary Numan’s and Pop Will Eat Itself's band, new writing has began for 3 new eps with planned releases in 2025 with CIA Records in Houston, Texas. The working title is 'A Time For Hunger From The Soul'.
