About The Artwork
This small abstraction shimmers with soft and subtle details. Mostly blue, but also a color shifting paint near the top shifts between orange and a pinkish tone depending on the angle of the light hitting the surface. Also heavy gel and canvas on canvas have been used to build depth. multiple layers of paint have been applied some scraped through to reveal shimmering depth.

I am a career artist of 40 plus years. My first modest public exhibition was in 1977 and I have been at it ever since. During the early 1980's I did outdoor art festivals mostly on weekends while I served in the military. In 1985 I opened a regional art gallery near Syracuse, NY. We enjoyed a 26 year run, closing in 2011. I currently maintain studios in Sanford, Florida and Bernhards Bay, New York.
