ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This rich collage is constructed from reclaimed items from the ground up. The weathered wood panel is constructed from a reclaimed window frame, with countless layers of different types of paper. Piece can be displayed in any orientation you prefer. Signed and dated on the back. A final coat of matte varnish protects and seals the piece. Art is gallery wrapped with extra beefy 2" deep sides, so no need for framing. This heavy duty pieces weighs 20 pounds. The wood panel has two D-rings on the back with heavy duty plastic-coated wire–ready to hang and add a unique story to any space. And people ask, "why the title?" The titles of the collage pieces I create, come directly from the exposed text in the artwork. For this one, the title is lifted from a vintage ad for a local stereo shop.

I always strive to create art that is bold, physical and has an overall element of fun. The editing process is about layering–adding and covering back up. My current work is rugged and blends areas of control with those of absolute chaos, wielding paint, markers, spray paint and using whatever tools I can find.
