About The Artwork
The strong colored painting shows us what it means to hope for an admission and have it refused. Feeling trapped in a cage, gazing at what should be your future but instead it is all denied. The balloons show us the hope for a lost desire, the expectations unfulfilled and the mockery of it all with the pin-up girls. Rina, is trying to present in this collection called “Frustrations” the normality that women were or maybe still are refused, the struggle they go through but at the same time the capacity of not being tamed. The paintings are a lesson for those who still don’t know how to be better and a tribute for the ones who always stood tall and never gave up.

I have been drawing since I was a child, but I started painting a few years ago. I guess that life had to teach me some lessons before I could start painting.
