About The Artwork
I had been exploring different facial expressions, and this particular face kept reoccurring. It looks like he is in a state of shock – he is going through a series of emotions (the reds and yellows) and at the same time he is sure that his situation is clear to him (the white and black). I will be exploring more of this figure/face as part of a series. Stay tuned! The paper has been primed to give the surface a little texture. I hope you enjoy it.
