”Apnea” is the first painting in the “Nowena” series. The painting focuses on the impact of overthinking and concerning oneself with other peoples’ opinion, and its inevitable distortion of self. At the same time, it is a criticism on the current state of media regarding the constant promoting of narcissism and false promise to the point of suffocation.
